Simply type-in what you need, exp, DD 214, and your address, and the form will be mailed to you. In most cases, only the Veteran, or next of kin can apply. (A re-married, surviving widow/widower, are NOT considered next of kin.) Also, all Veterans and certain Civil Service employees, who served between Sep, ’45 - Dec, ’91, are eligible for the "Cold War Recognition Certificate." If you would like one, follow the above directions.

Current, up-to-date membership in the VFW includes at NO additional cost to you an accidental death/dismemberment benefit, with limited exclusions. Further, if you are traveling to or from a VFW event, there is an additional benefit. They generally begin decreasing at age 70, and are payable up to one year following the occurrence, and are paid to the members legal estate. You may designate another beneficiary. If you have questions, contact the Post QM, through the "Contact Us" icon on the Home Page.
